Production Concept: Logo Design

Stage Two

To match in with other relatable colours seen in the show, we decided to make the logo green and orange. The reasoning behind this is that they are the colour of Sid’s Uniform.

We wanted to incorporate some features from both of the characters and these seemed to be colours which stood out.

Looking at other shows, these colours hadn’t been used together for a number of years targeted at our audience.

Our colourist began to digitalize the sketches and colour each element individually. The evolution process for the logo can be seen here.

Once the background and lettering was coloured, the outline of ‘Sally’ was incorporated. We kept her to her original colours for the final version.
