Stage Two
To match in with other relatable colours
seen in the show, we decided to make the logo green and orange. The reasoning
behind this is that they are the colour of Sid’s Uniform.
We wanted to incorporate some features from
both of the characters and these seemed to be colours which stood out.
Looking at other shows, these colours
hadn’t been used together for a number of years targeted at our audience.
Our colourist began to digitalize the
sketches and colour each element individually. The evolution process for the
logo can be seen here.
Once the background and lettering was
coloured, the outline of ‘Sally’ was incorporated. We kept her to her original
colours for the final version.
